As a marriage counselor, I use a direct approach to therapy, by asking challenging questions in a safe environment to help you see your situation from new perspectives. I give guidance to struggling couples, so you may unlearn harmful behaviors and begin working toward a satisfying and lasting solution.

Oftentimes, marriage counseling means exploring the impact your past, society, and culture have had on your present patterns of thought and behavior. Working with my clients, we often find that their patterns of communication and interaction have been deeply influenced by emotional injuries during childhood. By combining Integrated Body Psychotherapy (IBP), Attachment Theory, Gestalt Therapy, and training from The PACT Institute (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy), my clients can identify and separate thoughts, emotions, feelings, and bodily sensations. Learning how your present decisions are shaped by your past can help you recognize and correct destructive behaviors—and take control of your future.
